Job Description

Our client is one of the world’s leading analytical consultant companies offering unique tools and best practices for measuring and managing risk through expertise and experience in credit analysis, economic research and financial risk management.  By providing leading-edge software, advisory services, and research, this company integrates and customises its offerings to address specific business challenges.

Responsibilities

Our client needs a senior director to come in and carry out sales, account management and implementation of risk strategies (for clients and prospects) across a variety of sectors including Banking, Corporate, Investors and Regulators. 

The level of clients you would be expected to deal with on a daily basis would include chief risk officer, head of analytics, head of methodologies and heads of credit risk.

·         On behalf of Advisory Services, lead business development activity within EMEA across all practice areas, including Capital & Credit Solutions, Liquidity & ALM, Origination and Solvency II. These marketing activities will require engaging with MA Sales and market participants.

·         Contribute to the definition and development of Advisory Services\' overall strategy and services offerings.

·         Contribute to our goals of increasing revenue and operating profit in Europe and across our global activities through project contracting and project execution.

·         Represent Advisory Services at conferences and industry events.

·         Travel will be required in the position.

Requirements

·         Degree in Economics -  Mathematics -  Finance or related subject.

·         Postgraduate Degree (MSc, MBA, PhD)  in Finance or Economics preferred.

·         Previous experience and excellent track record in business development, as well in capital markets or consulting at a leading firm.

·         Strong understanding of credit and liquidity portfolio analysis methodologies.

·         Proven project experience (project lead or team member) preferably developed within a consulting environment.

·         Ability to develop high quality project deliverables and run / participate in workshops with senior business management.

·         Innovative approach to solving complex issues and problems.

·         Ability to build relationships at all levels with clients/prospects and the internal organization.

·         Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with ability to communicate complex ideas to all areas of the business -  client side and internally.

·         Good team player with strong management skills and the ability or potential to lead others.

·         Work in cross-border/cross-disciplined teams at client site and internally.

·         Ability to take ownership and responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferably computer-science and/or maths/physics related degree
